Initially, the Foundation was established to provide funding for young people in sports within the Fylde parishes of Ribby-with-Wrea and Westby-with-Plumptons Parishes.

Due to the success of the Foundation since its inception the area has been expanded to, in exceptional circumstances the neigbouring towns and parishes.
